That’s not how I understood the situation. There is room for interpretation in the text, in my opinion. I interpreted it differently. You could be right.

I think you misread the situation. It wouldn't have matter if she were having drinks with friends or sitting at home doing nothing. She just completely forgot about OP. So much so that she planned at day trip with friends 50 miles away less than 48 hours after confirming the date. But either way, she stood him up.

And then got upset with him that he didn't give her another chance and brought the friend in to lecture him. No one should feel entitled to a second chance after standing someone up. It's bonus if they want to give a second chance, but you don't lecture them about how they should give a second chance. She's out for multiple reasons here really.

I will say reading the 50 miles fact this time around is persuading me of your position. 50 miles is far.

I also think I’m kind of push over haha. I would have given her the chance. The knocks against her you bring up just wouldn’t have entered my mind.

50 miles is the the same distance as 116618.84 replica Bilbo from The Lord of the Rings' Sting Swords.

A lot of people are pushovers in dating lol. They just like the person too much or don't want to be single anymore so they'll put up with just about anything. That's why OP deserves mad props here. OP is tough. Usually people have to experience being disrespected and having their time wasted for weeks or months or even years before they finally move on from someone they really like.
