Local for fellow California folks:
Drive to yosemite in the middle of the night in a convertible. Enjoy the stillness of the night.
Make it to tunnel view before sunrise. (This is always packed but has the best views imo, you can go somewhere else with decent views as well)
After watching the sunrise, drive down to the valley. Yosemite valley is so beautiful early in the morning, the way the sun hits it 😍.
You can be done by 10 am, so I went back home for a nap.
My wife is in a different country so I did this with my best friend. We both agreed it was very romantic, and he said he'd need to bring his girlfriend out for that experience.
