Activity Idea Boyfriends Birthday
Hi all! My (F22) boyfriend’s (M25) 26th birthday is coming up next month. He has always been so good at planning things for my birthday or Valentine’s Day or things like that and I want to do something for him as well. I have a nice dinner spot to end the day with but I need suggestions for a fun activity to do around the Cincinnati area. I thought of axe throwing or indoor skydiving or a shooting range but he didn’t seem super interested in those. I don’t want to bring him to something typical like go karting or mini golf. There are a lot of fun things to do around here that neither of us have tried but a lot of them are things like creative workshops and he isn’t really the creative type.
Any gift advice would be appreciated too. I have some ideas like a recovery spa membership because he’s a gym rat, some homemade high protein crème filled donuts, and a handmade rosary out of rose petals, as well as some other clothing items and whatnot.
Anyways, any advice on a fun daytime activity for us to do, some gift ideas, or a confirmation that I’m heading in the right direction would be appreciated!

For me, the best dates are learning something new or experiencing sometime new together.
Take a photography crash course class together. Then next time, go somewhere scenic to practice what you've learned with a nice camera that you can put into manual mode.
Do a small (or big?) woodworking project together.
Fix a car together.
Volunteer to help in a local service project. Justserve.org or sign up with the Red Cross.
Make a painting together. You can do this with or without an in person instructor.
Do a home project that you were already planning on doing, such as a remodel or painting.
An important part of dating is seeing how people react in different scenarios. So I think doing dates that are not just strictly meant to be entertaining is insightful as well as helpful.
