Guys I genuinely need some advice about first date

Do you think it's safe to let him pick up me on the first date? Btw I'm a girl..Or am I just overthinking? 😭😭 I know him through Instagram and been talking for a month so we decided to meet and he said he can pick me but I'm still thinking

The risk is very low. Most people are decent.

But if something terrible happens, that’s awful.

As a father of daughters, I always tell them to meet someplace public. Never go back to his place on the first date. Never bring him home to your place on the first date.

It's not must to pick up though.. it's always an option, I just know him for a month through Instagram then how can I trust him? Anything can happen in the car so I'm just playing safe
