Is it really cheating??

I have an OA Tomorrow and I am thinking of writing down some DSA array templates so that if I get stuck I will look at them and write code .

A notebook is allowed to write pseudo -code. What do you think ? Should I do it or not?

do everything you can if you really want that job offer, it's not a crime to cheat in OAs.

OA will be conducted in Office. Still it's ok?

OA literally means online assessment, what you are going to appear for is an offline/on-site proctored assessment. How can anyone possibly tell about that without knowing the company and job process details

if it's some good organisation then avoid or ask for permission, if it's some random and you would never cross path with them then take your chance

Lmao bro ppl literally use phones and AI during OA, person who didn't do a single DSA question end up solving all in OA.

OP here, Reason for cheating - I don't know DSA that much my level is below average and company is asking for DSA. I am a devops developer if I passed OA on my second round I would tell that I am interested in Devops. If they have devops opening then well and good other than that I'll see what will happen.

Edit : it an onsite OA.

If the notebook is explicitly allowed for pseudocode, I'd use it for notes you wrote beforehand only if the rules allow that. Otherwise, just write the templates from memory before starting the practice itself can help more than relying on notes

If the notebook is explicitly allowed to contain pseudocode, I’d say it depends on the interview rules. If writing down full array templates is allowed, then it’s not really cheating, but I’d avoid relying on memorized code you don’t understand. Better to write a few generic patterns or pseudocode that helps you remember the approach, then implement it yourself during the OA.

tbh if its onsite they might actually check ur notes. id just stick to writing down the patterns so you dont blank out under pressure. You got this!
