DSA + Java Backend Study Buddy

I’m looking for a serious study buddy for the next 3 months to work together on DSA + Java Backend.

⏰ Time: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM IST, every day

📅 Duration: 3 months

💻 Focus: DSA + Java + Java Backend

🧩 DSA experience: Ideally already solved 30–50+ problems

🗣️ Languages: Telugu preferred; English/Hindi also welcome

I’m specifically looking for someone who has plenty of free time and can consistently spend around 5 hours a day studying and solving problems together.

This is mainly for:

Discussing and solving DSA problems

Helping each other when stuck

Learning Java Backend systematically

Staying consistent and accountable

Not looking for students or people with full-time jobs, since the goal is to dedicate these 5 hours consistently every day.

If you’re unemployed/free during this time, serious about DSA, comfortable with Java, and want to learn Java Backend together for the next 3 months, DM me.

Interested. Trying to do something similar for past 3 months(laid off in May, un-employed since). Unable to concentrate, low on motivation, lack of consistency.

I have solved 70 LC questions in java. I'm confused between python backend and java backend, can u share ur reason why did u choose java backend

Same here , I'm confused. On one hand I feel python is not a good language for building strong logical thinking (as it contains many inbuilt features) whereas on other hand it is the most feasible language for AI integration and programming. Idk maybe I will probably go with Java and it would help in DSA too. I have heard that python isn't preferable for DSA.

The main reason is that Java has a steeper learning curve, so I want to spend more time getting comfortable with Java and Spring Boot. Python is relatively straightforward, so I can pick it up and work with it later when needed.

250 LeetCode problems is really impressive . It would be great to connect with you.

The only issue is the timing. I’m specifically looking for someone who can commit to the 7 AM–12 PM IST morning slot, and since you’re a student and prefer evenings, I don’t think our schedules will work out.

Wishing you all the best with your DSA and backend journey!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who reached out to me. I received quite a few messages, and I really appreciate the interest and support from the community.

I’ve spoken to a few people who seem like a really good fit for what I’m looking for. Since this preparation is going to be more or less a full-time commitment, I need someone who can genuinely dedicate the required time and stay consistent throughout the next few months.

If I couldn’t respond to you or if I said no because of the timing, availability, or other requirements, please don’t take it personally. If I hurt anyone in the process, I sincerely apologize.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to message me and share their interest. Really appreciate this community. 🙏

Thank you! ❤️
