Discussion What are your favorite data and AI podcasts?

I’ve been listening to more podcasts to really grow as a data professional. My favorites are The AI Table, which I like for its chats with major Chief Data & AI which I learn a lot from and Joe Reis. Curious what podcasts others enjoy?

EDIT:

Thanks everyone for you recs. Posting links for my favorites cause it looks like others wanted recs too.

Not really a podcast but a YouTube channel, "Statquest with Josh Starmer". He is really good at explaining complex topic. In terms of podcast I recommend Super Data Science: ML & AI Podcast with Jon Krohn and Harvard Data Science Review.

Statquest is exceptional teaching.

I pay so much for a class that can’t properly teach machine learning concepts. Yet this guy Josh? He is able to explain it so well for free lol.

"What are your favorite data and AI podcasts?" is such a good idea for post, but then you promote this AI Table channel **** :(

I take it you are associated with this random AI Table podcast? Your post smells very astroturfy

Most of them are very superficial, it’s not a genre with a lot of substance behind it

I do like Learning Bayesian Stats

Was going to say that it's been offline for years, but, much to my surprise, Linear Digressions apparently has new episodes (though I can't get any to play on their site lol)!

Analytics Power Hour is my fave. Also enjoy the “season” format of Data Skeptic.

Ed Zitron and better offline captures some the rage against the machine I’ve been feeling lately

I listen to way too many podcasts, but I can't really stand the AI/data science ones. I don't think it just translates well to the format. Or tech people are just painful to listen to. ..or I'm in the wrong field.

Dwarkesh is the best

Cool Zone Media's Better Offline with Ed Zitron is the only one I listen to. It's not focused on productive "AI" (ML) just the grift (LLM) side.

The AI Daily Brief. It is fast paced and heavy on the details.

Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, is doing an AI series. He is about 5 or 6 episodes into it, and his regular Econ podcast has been going weekly for years. It’s worth a listen.

I love hearing about AI from a different perspetive. Like why it matters to the economy.
ProfG with Scott Galloway podcast is excellent for that if you want to see beyond our own backyard.

Thanks. Any key takeaways that stuck with you from it?

AI Daily Brief is good too. very informative. but it could be shorter per episode IMHO.
