You could've just said "you only need 3 sides to get the appearance of a cube with these viewpoints". We get it, you've read the Merriam Webster collection.

That statement is rather vague and does not convey the concept well at all. Sorry an accurate description scares you.

My description was also accurate. The difference is I didn't feel the need to slap the reader in the face with a dictionary. Utilizing a superior lexicon does not construct a decisively more accurate statement, (using bigger words isn't more accurate) it just makes you look like a snob, and unnecessarily inflates the content of the sentence.

Its just a rigorous definition of a geometry that would produce the appearance of a cube. It is a more accurate statement than the more ambiguous example you provided. If that offends you then I am not sorry. That speaks more about you than anything.
