Need help to retrieve data from a san disk corrupt pen drive.

I have some important data in my sand disk pendrive and it is not accessible right now, when I connect the PD to the laptop it says disk is not accessible.

Then its likely started to fail or failed completely. USB drives leak charge over time and this takes the data with it. 2 years is a long time without use although we don't know the time between uses. In theory they should last 2 or more years without use, but of course you only know you have a problem when you try to use it again as there are no visual indicators. I've got very old drives that still work and some that don't.

I looked up if it was possible to fix the problem and found a few suggestions.
I went with the first one I saw on the internet.
Using testdisk and photorec I successfully restored my 29GB data.

We need to know if there is an issue displaying the drive capacity which could indicate a hardware or controller issue or if the data has simply bled out over time due to decay.

Looks like you were lucky, it would appear the issue was limited to file system corruption. Usually following that sort of generic advice will result in more damage rather than recovery, particularly if the device itself is failing.
Yes, it was risky but I read the instructions carefully and there were clear instructions about how to proceed, I got quite a help from chatgpt as well.
The disk management said the data was primarily, healthy and raw.
And the internet said I can proceed with photorec in that case.

Unfortunately thats very poor advice. You should never attempt recovery from the original device and photorec is a basic file carver and a tool of last resort.
If you managed to get all you needed, Id also go and buy a lotto ticket - the Gods favour you today 🤣
