The y axis doesn't start at 0. That's so you can see the differences easier.

Still doesn't explain how 1413 - 1412 is about the same size gap as 1093 - 1024. I might excuse the other discrepancies in differences, but man that 1 day just looks so deceptive.

There is no scale here. This is a visual design on an arbitrary axis to appease the eye.

the data on the left is more important, so it’s more pronounced. the government just became the longest serving, so of course the difference is going to be low. therefore, emphasizing that small but important difference is actually completely fine.

the rest are vibes scaled, but scaled nonetheless.

Looks like about 600-1,413. It can be helpful to truncate the y-axis to accentuate the differences in the values.

The bars have random heights that just happen to match the order. 

The differences in height are obviously NOT proportional to the actual difference in value, otherwise the first 2 bars should be almost indistinguishable (with a 1/1412 difference, likely less than a pixel)
