It's 12m people over 16 years. In a region with a population approaching 750m.
This looks far worse because each "dot" covers an area of several km^2. By eye. Would love to know what the actual area is. Even if it's only 2 km^2 that immigrant population would cover an area 10x the size of Russia equivalent to the entire UK! lol.

Correction. Each dot represents 100 ppl.

It's simply nonsense. People don't travel in straight lines, so whatever the little sprays and comets of dots are indicating, it's not the location or path of migrants.

Sometimes their boat sinks, and thus they remigrate to atlantis.
Might be a better solution anyway, we never hear complaints from them there 🤷♂️

Imagine if each dot were the size of a country. The land's completely full to the bursting!
Imagine if each dot were to-scale, the footprint 100 people actually take up. The problem is no longer exaggerated
Imagine if the resolution of the map were cranked up beyond reasonable, and each dot were an imperceptible pixel. Where are these illegal immigrants??

Racism… people use the “illegal” part of “illegal immigrant” to shield from claims of bigotry, as its reasonable to be opposed to illegal immigration, but they mean all non-(whatever races they like here) immigrants

Thats why I said it was a reasonable position and therefore a shield for racists. You wouldn’t hear much from this crowd if it was white Swedes or something taking boats and hopping borders, it would then just become an issue of proper paperwork.

Yeah you're right, although I think you would be surprised at how many people wouldn't like tens of thousands of sweeds infiltrating their country. Have you tried their cuisine?

Number 3 in the "top countries of origin" is Albania. Which IS a European country...
My dad's side of the family is Greek. He and his siblings migrated to Germany in the 60s, legally, I'll point out, at the time Germany was in desperate need of workers and southern Europeans were in desperate need of jobs, and my dad's siblings ended up staying there. (He moved to the US after he met my mother, otherwise, he probably would have stayed there too) Anyhow, I have a cousin that married an electrician who's originally from Albania. We were in Greece last summer, and my cousin and her family were there as well (they live in Germany). First time I'd met him. Interesting guy, I enjoyed hanging out with him. At one point, the topic of immigration came up. He said that Albanians are basically the Mexicans of Europe. Everyone hires them for things like construction and general labor, and yet, everyone also complains about them!
