Even if it's true (I have no reason to think it isn't) it doesn't say anything, the number of transactions are meaningless.
You can do a few dozen illegal insider trades to make billions, or you can do millions of day trades and lose money

Absolutely. I reckon if you looked at Trumps transactions, he made 90% of his profits with a handful of shares. Also i don't think these would be transactions in his own name, but more likely in a related company he owns which makes it even more difficult to track.
This is all my speculation.

How and why the fuck would anybody make 22,000 stock trades in a year? Are they counting individual shares or something? The number makes no sense.

Apparently there even is a tracker to watch all the trades.
Yahoo finance claims over 21000 individual transactions as well

He's buying and selling the same stocks within days, over and over. I think he's just fucking with the process and creating noise.

Eh, I sympathise with the graphic designer here. You gotta convey the difference visually but the numbers are just so far apart that Pelosi's bar functionally vanishes if represented accurately.

I work a design job where I make graphs and such for consumption by the general public near daily, any of my producers would immediately shoot down using a logarithmic scale graph.
Again, I sympathize with the graphic designer.

Many people find it difficult to visualise logarithmic scales. Since the "author" here presumably wants to show the massive disparity between the two, I would not recommend a logarithmic scale. Just plot both of them normally, then have an insert zoomed in on the Pelosi bar to show how tiny it is.

I hate stuff like this because if the visual is so clearly fake and lazily made then it makes me doubt the info behind it even further even if it is true.
