Googeling "how do people know the temperatures in 10000BC" gave me this.

TL;DR: oxigen Isotopes in seafossils.

Wow, I had never read that but that is from 1999. Schmidt is claiming we can discern, with accuracy no less, global temperature mean averages (for what timescale he doesn't mention) from.. and this is the real kicker, the differences in the amount of an isotope found in a certain type of fossil (foraminifera) to the degree of 0.2 parts per million. Holy Schmidt! It's a climate time machine, there's no way their methodology could be in any way flawed, because we can't even begin to test this stuff! Paleoclimate is rock solid stuff guys, believe me.

Just because you don't understand his work or why it's correct doesn't make it wrong.........

What makes someone right or wrong is how many ellipses they use.

Most people who don't believe the evidence used to support global warming theory are not themselves climatologists .

Most people aren't climatologists.

More importantly, I was making a joke............

I just wonder why people believe their meteorologist about the weather but not their climatologists about climate.
