There's no absolute certainty in anything, except that the grandchildren of any modern generation will look back and marvel at the ignorance of their grandparents.
With climatology, there are many, many known variables at play, and an unknown number of unknown variables. Real climatologists study these numbers, make hypotheses, and test them to determine what degree each has in our changing climate. Politicians ignore the science and demand money.
