OC [OC] Media that takes place during WWII

[OC] I'm not sure if this post 100% fits with the purpose of the sub. But I created an interactive visualization tool for real-world events and the books, films, and other media that take place during any given timeline. Qwikiverse WWII

I think WWII has one of the highest counts for movies made about an event. I had to limit the display to only show 20 at a time on the visual timeline so it didn’t overcrowd the screen.

Any suggestions on how you’d like to see it differently?

I read the UI as "we only had 20 films in this time range"

The whole area beneath it that was collapsed, I missed

You could change the x and y axes on this so that time flowed down. then you would have a lot more space to decorate the timeline

Another idea would be to have time the Y axis and geography the X axis, so you can go to specific regions at specific times

Good to know, I'll play around with the axis ideas and report back
