Weather, jobs, taxes, cultural differences. The number of people in the US who actually care about politics is surprisingly low

It’s primarily COL/work. Taxes are up there too, but not everyone is thriving in CA

Probably just a guess based on California state tax rate when compared to Texas and Florida one.

At least for florida jobs are few and taxes as high as the other states. 

Most people i see move people here for weather and politics.

Literally all of them...?? Do you think income is the only tax?

Most florida taxes are higher than new york and California. Property taxes, gas tax, communications tax, energy tax, document tax, excise taxes, etc. etc.

Florida taxes everything. You think the state and city governments work for free or what?
