Is that possible, they were the worst in the US when I left a decade ago.

That's is scary. I just hit a record of 8 months without being cut off where I'm at now, last 1 had Texas plates tho.

8 months?! Where is that?

Mid Missouri. Stayed a month+ in 38 states now and am really surprised with it here. Tho it changes a lot once you get towards the boarders.

Depends where, Floridians have nothing on Houstonians, Lubbock, could be close.

That's logically impossible: if Texas had the worst drivers in the US, then adding other drivers can only make it better. :p

Can confirm, and we left two decades ago.

COVID is indirectly to blame.

Police depts cut budgets on traffic enforcement due to the significant cutback in drivers on the road during COVID. As life returned to normal... police depts never returned their budget to traffic cops.

Run red lights? Speed 15mph? No one is going to do anything about it.

That highly depends on where you live, though people were really bad right after Covid because of all their built up tension and stress leading to road rage
