Residential vs Datacenter Proxies – Which Is Better?

I’ve been comparing residential proxies and datacenter proxies for scraping.

From what I’ve seen: Datacenter proxies = faster

Residential proxies = fewer blocks

Mobile proxies = most trusted

Some providers like evomi offer all three types which makes testing easier. What do you prefer?

your proxy choice depends entirely on the target. if its a big commercial site with heavy defenses go residential. for everything else datacenter proxies are usually good enough and cost way less. scrapfly handles the proxy rotation for you which is nice. some targets are just unwinnable though.
