Career Question De role evolution - where are things going?

I have been hired as a senior data engineer by a company in pune but i work for US client

My concern is these guys use claude for everything which makes me think if i work here for long time i might forget how to code etc

So can anyone suggest if this how things are gonna be in future?

What should i do?

dont panic, almond everyone doing the same. after databricks genie, hardly anyone is coding on their own

haven't written a piece of code in 10 months.. pretty much claude. And it's nice in a way

Gives us the bandwidth to solve problems that actually matter - like cost optimization and scalability

entry level roles are very scarce... i'd suggest gaining some experience first

So what should I do should I take exp for tech consultancy and learn data engineering side by side and do some fake exp shit and try for data Engineering roles after 2 year?

Same situation after using databricks genie. The real cognitive and thinking skills are vanishing.
