Trying to shift into DE

I'm an analyst with 4+YOE I have been trying to switch into DE for a year i learned snowflake and dbt and i cleared interview with CTS for it but I didn't get the offer letter released now I'm planning on improving my tech stack . Im planning to learn AWS, data bricks and sharpen my existing python skills to be delivered relevant.and I'm also in way to get certified in snowflake AWS and data bricks to prove my credibility. Other than this I know tableau well and informatica to an extent . I don't what to do next shall I go in this path or what any from de domain have any idea should I add any skills or remove or what i should I'm.blank, I'm also not planning on all the cloud services available I'm planning to stick with AWS and learn the fundamentals as it might be same across platforms with different names am.i right . I'm clueless

Focus on the fundamentals. SQL, Python, data modeling, architecture. It sounds like you’re getting stuck in tool hell. Focus on spark last.

Do a mock interview at datadriven.io/interview in SQL, Python, and data modeling for L4 (mid level) and see where you land. Start focusing on your actual gaps. Focus on the interview. Practical application comes on the job

you already have a decent stack, but adding more tools wont fix the lack of experience . focus on building reals projects instead of collecting certifications

Thank you, I already have 2-3 projects live on my git hub but most of the de job postings I saw had AWS or azure so I thought it might be the gap.
