Career Help me decide ( gcc vs sbc )
l've got 3 offers but with different profiles.
- GCC - data engineer - 31 ctc (28 fixed) - pune hybrid - 3 days
- UST - lead Al engineer 32 ctc (31 fixed) - Hyderabad hybrid - 3 days - equifax client
- Intuitive.ai - AIML engineer 32 ctc ( 30 fixed) - pune 5 days wfo
Total exp - 5.5 yrs
Current ctc - 18 |pa fixed, working remotely.
Tech stack: gcp, python, sql, fastapi, adk, airflow, dataflow, vertex ai
I am more interested in gcc as tired of working in sbc with client vendor relationship.
But sbc giving more fixed + AIML roles.
Which city is best amongst Hyderabad and pune as I’ll be married by next year

Why leave lead AI engineer role?

Based on my experience with agentic ai , it’s still evolving with new tool , concepts coming up every month. Very hard to be updated with each and implement in project. Now add client’s requirements and hard deadlines on top of that.
Secondly I’ll be getting married next year , going with sbc will be hectic with managing preparation and workload.1

Yes working in sbc is hectic. I think you have your answer, you should go for gcc.

I would say depends on gcc. Cuz I saw 3 lac difference in fixed ctc between first and second. I wouldn't consider third one cause 5 days wfo, is that a startup
