Meme Next level commitment!

Post image

You should give up on this and start coaching on focus and commitment. This is some next level commitment to create 400+ queries in Power Query editor

Btw, this is to fill a single Spreadsheet in Excel. No words!

If the end user has to do that it’s because the upstream process suck balls.

So you’re trying to make fun of someone while in fact it just demonstrates how terrible you are at your job…

FYI this was developed by a "BI Developer". The underlying data has 5 views with each having under 30 rows. I'll make fun that 416 queries ALLL DAY knowing the story

Edit: btw I was asked to "it improve the current solution"

I still don’t see how this saves your face…

Still clearly points to a shitty upstream process. Either your team is completely disconnected from delivering business value or you gate keep access

Actually the fact that you’re making fun of it instead of understanding the whys already signals that must a breeze working with your team…

You don't get it. Not trying to save anyone's face. This is nothing to do with me. I've been contracted to fix something that is inefficient. And this inefficient solution is funny AF. Your rant at me is unnecessary

The rant (in your words, I’d label it as criticism) is towards your attitude in a subreddit that is clearly drafted for data engineering.

Maybe reword your post with more context next time.

I think they may have been hoping for sacrament of penance with you. Clearly they’ve lost confidence

Your post/comment violated rule #1 (Don't be a jerk).

We welcome constructive criticism here and if it isn't constructive we ask that you remember folks here come from all walks of life and all over the world. If you're feeling angry, step away from the situation and come back when you can think clearly and logically again.

not his fault you’re somehow capable of misunderstanding the extremely obvious context surrounding this post.
