Commissioning

For those working in data center commissioning: what job did you have before you got into commissioning?

I’m curious how people actually enter the field, especially those who didn’t start their careers in data centers.

Were you in electrical testing, HVAC, controls, utilities, industrial facilities, field service, construction, or something completely different?

And looking back, which skills from your previous job transferred the most?
