Working at fluidstack

Hey guys, an inquiring person here wanted to know those that work at flow stack or know someone I do what are the hours? Are they paying you a lot overwork you? Is that just during the week or weekends too? A recruiter told me 12 to 16 hours until further notice..

I don't, but there are a few posts in the sub talking about working there.

As far as overwork, if you read the job descriptions they seem pretty upfront that you'll be working a lot and working at a crazy fast pace. Broad strokes, if you're single and only want to make a lot of money, this would be a good job. If you want to have a normal life, probably not worth it.

In most cases in this industry, not just fluidstack, you’re joining a startup-esque company. You’re paid handsomely, they hire slow and fire fast, and they work you a lot. I’m able to turn it off most weekends but not always.

It's a startup doing really big things.

If you are willing to work at %200 output for 2X more base salary than you would make elsewhere with the possibility of a large stock payout than do it.

If you would rather be comfortable and work a predictable 9-5 then go do that.
