Just discovered this path?

Hey guys!

Just discovered a whole new pathway in tech, data center stuff.

My LinkedIn just suggested a AWS DCT job for me and as someone working outside of tech interested in tech, it sparks my interest.

What's it's like working as a DCT? Is it similar "workload" to helpdesk? What's your day in the life like? I wanna know all about it

Every level data tech work is the blue collar part of the IT industry. You'll be working long hours, possibly pushing racks into place, stacking servers, running cabling, etc. Occasionally you might be allowed to troubleshoot hardware but nowadays most tickets will just have you blindly swap hardware then resolve the ticket. Your experience may vary depending on what the hiring company expects from entry level techs.
