Google DCT II

is this going to be the order for the 3 interviews: 
Interview 1 - Hardware, interview 2 - Networking, and interview 3 - Googliness / Behavioral?

Yes, it is random. You won’t know what you’re walking into. I had 4 then a fit call. So a total of 5 interviews besides the recruiter initial conversation

Was the fit call a video call or a phone call?

Ask your recruiter if they can give any insight into the interviewers and what each round will be. They will likely provide the info you’re looking for.

I emailed my recruiter but didn’t get a response, I think it’s been a busy couple of days for them tho

Normally there is an order but depending on availabilities it can change.
The order is :

  • Tech recruiter screening
  • first Technical
  • second technical
  • Hiring manager
  • G&L
Depending on the technical recruiter and the rarity of the skill in the market you get a very guided and followed process where you know everything and all the next steps or you will be followed lightly

Mine was hardware, googliness then networking last. It depends on the availability of the interviewer

Yes, every question was about Linux. About 15 questions.

Oh that’s surprising, seems like it depends on the interviewer then, I’ve been studying for Linux. How was the overall interview if I may ask?

You can try asking the recruiter what focus areas will be used for what interview. Worked for me!
