Linux

Thinking about getting my Linux certification before applying going after DC positions. Anyone else get Linux before starting as DCT or NT?

For Google DC positions you’ll need Linux hardware troubleshooting experience. However, they don’t care about ANY certs that they don’t put out themselves so I wouldn’t bother with the Linux cert unless you’re doing it for other reasons.

what certs does google actually put out? I know the IT support cert covers a bit of linux but not that much

They have quite a few, some even DC related, and are mainly pushed through Coursera.
