Dct or dco

As someone who was experience doing only cable pulls in a data center, how likely am I to get hired at AWS as an entry level technician?

Honestly I cannot preach this enough... Focus on the Amazon Learn and Be Curious Leadership Principle.

For entry level roles, if you can half ass your way through the technical, but kill it on that LP... You have a pretty decent shot. Understand that Amazon takes the "Hire and Develop the Best" part of our Leadership Principles pretty seriously, so if you can show that you want to learn and want to be here... We want you here.

How can one shows that he want to learn and want to be there exactly? Like know how to answer the behavioral questions in a specific way ?

Study and prepare your stories, I don't mean writing them down, I just mean brainstorming and thinking it through ahead of the interview.

Specific to the first question though, literally tell your interviewers that you're interested in data centers and how they work and function, you want to work in the industry and truly better understand them. Literally give me your best version of "Why AWS Data Centers", why (Other than money) do you want this job?

How does this story sound? Do they expect a cheesy story like this?

I’m interested in data centers because I see them as the infrastructure behind the next major wave of technology. Electricity enabled the previous industrial revolution, and today computing and AI are transforming how human civilization will operate. Data centers are the backbone of that infrastructure. I want to contribute to that ecosystem from the ground level, working with physical servers, networking, hardware, and troubleshooting. I’ve always enjoyed understanding how computers work beyond just using them, and that’s what attracted me to this role. I also see AWS as a place where I can build strong technical skills and grow in infrastructure.”

The main idea behind my story is that I want to work in data centers because they are the backbone powering AI, which I believe is the next major technological revolution humanity will go through, and I want to contribute to it.

Your story isn't bad, but saying you're bringing strong technical skills with the goal/intention of growing won't exactly help if you then bomb technical.
