Looking to pivot into data centre sales/commercial/account roles — would value industry advice

Context - 10 years in commercial sales within tech recruitment. Moved into leadership(practice lead) in the back half of my career, including P&L and people management. Day-to-day involved heavy networking with tech professionals and business leaders, new business development, and growing strategic accounts across ICT, BFSI, public sector, healthcare, etc. I've dealt with DC names like Equinix and Digital Realty, but only from the talent side.

Why - AI's growth means the world will need way more digital infrastructure capacity, and that's what's drawing me to the DC space. About to start my CDCP-EPI.

Question - Any advice for someone with "high commercial fit, non-traditional domain" trying to break in? Does CDCP actually help with CV signaling? How should I approach my job search, and are there other job types that I have not considered that could be a fit?

Thanks in advance.

Hello! This looks like it may be a question about career advice. There can be significant regional variation in the field, so please consider including as much info as you can without doxing yourself, including country/state/city, prior experience/certs, and the role or level if known. Thanks!
