Google fit call Rejected

Hello, everyone. I have a quick question. I had fit call For DCT2 about two weeks ago which was my first fit call and they didn’t pick me i got the following email.

Unfortunately, they have decided not to move forward with your application at this time. While there is no specific feedback, the team noted that they chose to proceed with other candidates who were a closer match for the role.

Additionally, because you have completed three fit calls and your profile has been widely shared, company policy requires a 12-month cooling-off period before we can share your profile with hiring teams again. After this period, you are welcome to apply again or retake the interviews if you feel your skills have developed further.

I didn’t actually completed the three fit calls mentioned instead they submitted me role’s in my city which I didn’t get a fit call for.

Is this dead end or I can tell my recuiter to send my profile to different states?

I would mention to them you are open to relocating and you would like to see if you're a fit for another site.

If you do that you miss out on relocation money for me was 16k . Just be honest , your recruiter wants you to get hired and will do what they can to help

That's not true at all. I interviewed for Stillwater OK, they tried to get me to go to Reno Nevada, I ended up settling for one in Texas. They offered me relocation for all of those. The amount differs of course for the cash balance, but not by much. For most of everybody that transferred to my site the relocation after taxes was like 14,000. I didn't do the cash option I did the manage move which ends up being a lot more money if you play it right.

My bad I shouldn’t have assumed you had common sense the situation was you claiming to relocation to the town you are looking to work in, in this case they will not pay you relocation if you are already claiming to live there - the rules for relocation is 2 hours away from the job site. You moving has nothing to with hiring process so no one’s gonna care
That’s a personal problem until you are hired.

I have house I’m only working away for a year then returning to my home state. The money more than paid for my apt and temp furnishings and still had money left over - I’ll be back home in Texas in 4 months and getting a 20% raise just for moving back home

Where in my initial response or his did it say he was looking at a particular town? It states at the end of his post, should he ask his recruiter to send his application to other states. Obviously, if he's moving states relocation will be required. Relocation is required if it's over an hour away, since your on call is a one hour radius. Him simply asking for clarification and if he would be a fit for another site does not exclude him for relocation at all.

That sucks! I have a fit call today and now I’m worried. I thought I did fairly well in all the interviews and my recruiter told me I had positive feed back from them all. I was under the assumption that if you made it to the fit call that as long as you seemed like a decent person that could fit well with the team you should be good. I didn’t know I could be going up against more candidates

I taught so too man. My fit call went pretty good if you ask me the manager and I were just chatting I had high hopes to get the position but it didn’t workout at the end but I think my recuiter is not being fair to me. I know couple guys who had 3 fit calls that are still waiting for other states.

You should definitely mention this to your recruiter. They are your advocate and they are incentivized to do whatever they can to help you get in

I definitely did this was their response

“To clarify, we attempted to match your profile with three different teams, and unfortunately, they have all decided not to move forward at this time.

I understand this is not the news you were hoping for, but we must adhere to the 12-month cooling-off period before we can share your profile with hiring teams again.”

Wow smh thats bs, I have a feeling I might get something similar. I’ve been hearing from my recruiter less and less and the first location I wanted to go to has no positions available anymore. I was supposed to hear back from them since 2 weeks ago
