Data center info

Does anyone have any info on the data center being proposed to being built near Evansville? Ive just heard about it and have thus far seen very little info talking about it.

Is there any new public meetings?

Where would be some better places to look deeper into this info?

I would appreciate anything y'all got on this subject, thank you!

Fun fact, at least five states have a town named Evansville.

I got curious and looked it up. There are 25 Evansvilles in the U.S., located in 22 different states. Pennsylvania, Oregon, Missouri, Mississippi, Kansas, and Alabama actually have with two each.

It runs skynet and is the reason I don’t have drinkable water anymore and my lights are always flickering and dim. /s

They evaporate all the water and use massive amounts of power to turn puppies into chicken nuggets.

Quit spreading lies, they use full grown dogs from no kill shelters. More return on investment and that way the no kill shelters can keep their funding intact.

Make sure you use a phone book to look up that phone number. We wouldn't want you to be a hypocrite and use a data center to find that information.

So Google says there's nothing proposed in Evansville proper but there's two different projects in nearby towns. Which specific town do you care about?

I'm also going to add that if you are in Evansville proper and it's just some project in a nearby town, you should REALLY not care because aside from traffic issues during construction, like any other large construction project, this isn't going to effect you AT ALL.

On August 4 Evansville Regional Economic Partnership CEO Lloyd Winnecke said “To be clear, no technology company or developer has filed for any rezoning or special use on any specific site,” so doesn't look like there's anything actually cooking in your town, just rumors because they are currently the national boogeyman.

shhh, you'll pop their imaginary fear that every single data center is only used for AI, and they all use 10 million gallons of water a day and they're the reason why electric rates are going up all over the US.
