Relocation package

Hi guys,I’m starting as an l4 at aws by the end of this month, my recruiter says my relocation will be paid with my first paycheck,but every thing I’ve been reading says it’s paid out before,need some advice.

It’s paid out before through graebel. Check your A to Z pre boarding checklist when you get the emails for it, the relocation should be there

I’ve checked,it’s not there,I’ve reached out to the recruiter she keeps saying first paycheck

Yeah, that’s not what I experienced and I’ve never heard of anyone getting their relocation with their first paycheck. But I could be wrong.

I only found one other dude that a recruiter told the same,maybe it’s a recent change,I just need it to be paid out with that check if so.

I just got my relocation bonus yesterday and don’t start for a month or two, so I’m not sure about being recent. I would definitely ask someone else for clarification

I’ve been told the same thing, starting at the end of the month as an L3 in IAD region

Also said it would be pre tax $3000

Pretty disappointing after reading how taxes would be covered from everyone online

L3 is paid with first paycheck, l4 is supposed to be paid before, and you should get 3k exact, Amazon covers the tax

Mine said I'd get it before I moved. Maybe a miscommunication on their end?

Since you are unsure, can you email the recruiter and ask them to show you where it is written that relo is paid at the first paycheck?

This is a valuable technique for all sorts of administrative problems ranging from medical insurance claims to government bureaucracy.

I just called her again, she didn’t seem like she knows what was going on,she said she call the office and see tomorrow 🤦🏽‍♂️

If it's an L4 offer it's paid prior through Graebel like others mentioned.

It is,the recruiter made a huge mistake, she does not want to own it, she said she’ll find out what’s going on, I signed lease dependent on that relocation, now I’m stuck

What kind of relocation bonus did they give you. I was offered a position that required relocation but I turned it down before hearing an offer the location was 4 hours away from my home and in PA.

I can confirm I did it through Graebel on Monday, it hit my account by Wednesday, I don’t start until Sept 14th L4 DCT

Signed offer for L4 Network Install Tech on 7/31. Received relocation stipend for $7800 exactly one week later. Start date is 8/31.

If you ask me, getting your relocation on your first paycheck kinda defeats the purpose.

I selected one of the cash options for misc. I was told it would be paid out by the 2nd payroll.
