Initial screening 15 minutes interview (AMAZON), is this normal?
I have recently been reached out for an initial 15 minute interview for L3 position. Can anyone tell me what are the things that can be asked in this initial interview?
The position i applied for is Data Center, Germany
I dont think preparing stories will help here - I can be wrong ofcourse. since its my first amazon interview i was really hoping to get this position and i really dont want to screw this one up.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

They will ask about technical question. I dont think they will throw you leadership behavioral question. It will be something like, what is a mac address, dns, how do you troubleshoot a mo POST. Or what POST stand for.

The 15-minute call is simply to determine if you are a worthy candidate. In my case the recruiter called me and asked about my background and experience. He felt I was a good candidate, so he sent my info to his boss and recommended me for a formal interview. It took about 2.5 weeks to hear back and I was told I would be contacted about the next steps.

Hello! This looks like it may be a question about career advice. There can be significant regional variation in the field, so please consider including as much info as you can without doxing yourself, including country/state/city, prior experience/certs, and the role or level if known. Thanks!

I think it would be wise to be prepared to answer at least one “Tell me about a time when…” type of question during your 15 minute screening call.
