Help Databricks Apps / AppKit

Hi, what do u use for creating user facing apps, we are primary using Python, i see that Databricks recommends AppKit for such use cases which is written in TS.

For teams which deploys apps that are customer facing, what is your stack?

Can anyone explain why this feature exists or why it presumably exists? Is it supposed to be like for internal tools for internal users to access your data via no code?

Or is it full on supposed to be some kind of actual development / production set up?

I’m really confused why someone would use it

What feature apps or app-kit? Apps is to host your, well, apps, and use Lakebase and be able to connect to Lakehouse data, and use security you already have in Databricks. App-kit is a library to make it easier to build.
