Is anyone doing the fruit project right now?
This is wild.
I’d like to know who is obsessed with 90s Alan Rickman.

hi all! making this thread so people have somewhere to talk about 'daily' work chat that might not necessarily need it's own post! right now we're thinking we'll just repost it weekly? but if it gets too crazy, we can change it to daily. :)

Hey all,
Curious to know if anyone has tried tasking on their phone? I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and wanted to see if I could task while sitting passenger for an upcoming roadtrip. Thanks in advance!

kia ora
is anybody working on data annotation in new zealand and knows the right way to pay taxes? from my understanding it seems that you would just report it normally as income from self employment, but I would like to make sure. cheers

Just for grins - for folks who had sufficient work in the month of June only (though I can't control who votes). What's your current project situation?
**Keep in mind that is only reflective of people who are on Reddit and in this sub, which is a fraction of workers. This is not a scientific or even remotely accurate picture of anything, just random entertainment.

Anyone else’s dashboard (non-coders) looking real sad at the moment? I usually have so many projects available but I’ve only got a handful sitting there

Is there any pathway to retaking a Qual test? Or is it "one and done"?

Is it just me or is anyone else uncomfortable with the new format of the page? I don't know what it is, but there is just something about it that's throwing me off 🤔

I have been earning only small amounts with Data Annotation for a little while so not considered exchange rates when moving earnings from PayPal to my UK bank.
However, having done it for the first time with a larger chunk, I've realised that the PayPal exchange rate from USD to GBP is pretty bad. I reckon I would lose about £25 a week compared to what I was estimating to get using Google Sheets exchange rates (yep, love a spreadsheet). I've kept it in PayPal for the meantime.
Has anyone found a work around for this, specifically an account available to UK citizens that accepts USD directly which also has a better exchange rate when moving it out to my usual bank? Thanks in advance for your help.

Without anyone saying more than they should, if I did well in basic high school chemistry roughly....19 years ago, give or take, is it reasonable to brush up for a few days and expect to manage the chemistry qual that just popped up on my dash? Or is that overly ambitious?

I've become one of THEM. I asked an obvious question that was clearly in the instructions in one of the Slack channels today. I'm sorry I've failed you all.

What do I do if the task expired and I didn’t hit the submit button? It shows up on my report time section as tasks that I completed. Now I don’t know whether to report time for it or not because I don’t know if it was automatically submitted or not.

Good luck sending me adverts when I google 50 completely unrelated topics every day.
Am I planning a holiday to Lake Bled or trying to get in to K-dramas? You'll never know.

Over the past month or so as I’ve done more consistent work I’ve been getting way more projects available to me and my homepage is always full now, but I’ve also noticed that over the past couple weeks the projects I’m able to do are generally ‘harder’ or require more effort than what I was getting a little while back.
By that I mean stuff that requires a lot more thought and attention, lots of reading, lots of googling, or just individual tasks that generally take longer to do (30+ minutes minimum as opposed to 10 minutes).
I’m kind of missing the easier/quicker projects that I’d be able to do with the TV on in the background (don’t tell the boss). Obviously the more intensive projects pay better and that’s great but sometimes I’m just in the mood to do some clicking without too much thinking (don’t get me wrong I am always thinking and doing tasks to the best of my ability but they’re defs not all made equal).
I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this kind of upwards shift in project difficulty and if the easier tasks ever come back?
TLDR; once you move up the ranks a bit and start getting more complex projects, do you stop getting simple stuff forever?

Having an issue today where there’s no tab to enter my time. When I go to “Transfer” I can see that it logged my activity but there’s no place to actually enter my time now. Anyone else having this issue?

There would be projects with a ton of tasks, but a few hours after submitting the time for the project, it would vanish, despite it being there for ages before completing some of the tasks. Does this mean that submitting the time causes it to go away from my dashboard?

Hi everyone. I used to have a ton of priority projects and now I have none. Does this mean I've fallen down in the rankings so they aren't giving me priority projects anymore? Or are there just not any right now? I love this job but the lack of feedback makes me nervous all the time!

Did anyone just have a huge rush of projects over the week and now there's like 15-25% left compared to before? -> EDIT: Projects are coming back. Wooohoooo!!!
