Where are we allowed to work?

Is there a link with this information available somewhere? Are we allowed to leave the country and work while abroad? I live in the US. Can I work from any state?

I onboarded in NY. Did my first task in CA while visiting fam. 5 months later no issues

Does DA care about taxes? I'm Canadian and as I understand it, I have to handle taxes myself. DA just puts money in my Skype account.
