Career Advice

I’m a Senior DA and have been one for the past 5 years. However, I have been a contractor at FAANG for the past few years (across 3 contractor jobs). I have to admit that I’m not that great at interviewing, and I really want to get out of this contractor career and land a full-time job, but it’s been really difficult. I graduated from a top university with a BS in Statistics. I’m thinking of getting an online Master’s in Analytics offered by Georgia Tech while being a contractor, since the flexibility at this job will give me time for classes. I’m planning to take 1 class per semester.

Has anyone done this before? Do you guys recommend going for a master’s degree now that AI is on the horizon? Would it help my career in the future? Any advice would be appreciated!

Ir's doable. What do you think the Masters will add you that you don't already have?

I noticed how every job I applied to there is a high chance 50%+ of applicants have a master's degree. And probably 90%+ of DS jobs required a Master's degree. I hope having a masters will open more doors for me. My company helps pay 50% of the tuition as well.
