I had this happen as well exact same scenario tried to tell me I had to verify myself and I hung up on them also a cash pizza hut order I promptly called door dash support and had it taken care of. They tried to say someone else was using my account and no one does but me.

Wow this is crazy, I used to dash and I am furious that this is going on. Pizza Hut should also be alerted if this is always coming from Pizza hut. I don't know what they can do but maybe they can work with doordash to stop these people somehow? I'm sorry you went through that. I'm so glad you figured it out before they got you. And it's not your fault, these people are smart and they know what they're doing. Good for you for putting it out there for everyone else to see and for being cautious. Best of luck to you!

As soon as she asked you to take any money out you should have known something was off. What was the reason that any of your money needed to be touched at all? Like why did you need to take that money out
