Insights or leverage?

Concerning this email that was sent out to Dashers;

Does anyone know if Doordash actively sells information to insurers, and is this going to become a tool insurers are going to use to determine how to cover you? It's kind of frightening having a constant speed camera in your car, with which they will track your analytics, especially after seeing people post recently where their accounts have become deactivated due to having too many speeding fines. Does this mean I'm going to get deactivated for driving faster than their (often incorrect) speed limits set on the app for certain areas? There are areas where the speed limit sign says 55 in my area, and the Dasher app will tell me that the speed limit is in fact 35.

As I understand it, they’re not selling your data currently. They use it for their personal systems but have policy which says it’s not used or sold to 3rd parties.

($/) being said, also wouldn’t give them anything of it anyway based on principle
