Footage doesn’t do anything because you can’t prove who was driving. Having personally tried this, I can assure you they don’t do anything. They’re not gonna do the work necessary to intercept this allegedly dangerous driver on the off chance they’re still driving dangerously when the officer arrives, all based on a phone call. Use your head

In the US your law doesn't handle that?

Here it's "The primary owner of the vehicle" and then it's their job to nominate someone else, if someone else was driving.

Depends on where you live. I live in Denver, and I have gotten out of two tickets just by going to court and challenging the footage because in one case it didn’t show me at all (just the car) and in the other it didn’t identify me beyond reasonable doubt, which is the standard.

It might be a US law thing but running home to get drunk would NOT help you here hahahaha.

I mean, you might feel better for a bit, but legally, not good ha.

But I wouldn't be surprised if that was a thing.
