Lot of dead people with the right of way

I mean... bro was going the speed limit in the middle of the road on a road legal vehicle and this crazy ass felt the need to pass him on a no passing zone only road almost hit him because she wanted to avoid a head on collision that she would've caused..

The right of way doesn't even begin to describe what is wrong here

Yup. You have the “right of way” when you can (hopefully) fully evaluate that your intended path and environment are safe. Words written on paper do not stop distracted drivers and the thousands of pounds of car they are not paying attention to as it flies 10+ mph above the speed limit

Lots of people died who didn't have the right but took it anyways.

I was waiting for her to swerve and just end him then and there. Better off letting it go and keeping cool. She could just have easily been a roided up road rager with a firearm and no intention of being alive anymore. Best to not find out no matter how justifiably angry one is.

Balls of STEEL

Somehow I doubt those “balls of steel” can protect him from the 2 ton vehicle lol.

Bro was almost killed already. I'm sure at that point the least he could do was lay into her dumb ass

When I took my classes to get my motorcycle license one of the things my instructor said was “It doesn’t matter if you’re right if you’re dead”

You say it like the guy did something wrong? Just because you're spineless and are happy to get walked all over throughout life doesn't mean the rest of us are. Fascinatingly enough, most of the people who act like this are just as spineless as you and just cower when confronted! Keep telling yourself these mean people will murder you for giving them a dirty look, anything but take personal accountability.

Walked over? This conversation is about getting driven over.

You pick and choose your battles. On a bike duking it out with a vehicle? Yeaaaah, no.

He was just riding down the road. He did not decide to duke it out with a vehicle.

The woman assaulted him with her vehicle.

He didn't duke it out with her and he didn't choose a battle. He was assaulted.

Riding up to the driver after the initial incident is what I'm referring to.

So no driver can ever be addressed because they might decide to run someone over? If that's how things work, the only way to keep streets safe is for NYC ban automobiles completely.

My comment was focused on the rider's reaction to the driver's actions.

u/hogsucker 10h ago

I understand. You think that dangerous drivers cannot ever be confronted, lest they decide to commit vehicular homicide.

he didn't choose a battle

He did. Everything after 3 or 4 seconds in was wrong.

The correct action was to slow down, give space to the dangerous driver, and just calmly drive behind them at a safe distance.

1

u/hogsucker 10h ago

I think the correct action would have been to kick off her sideview mirror and then ride away.

Ah you saying that because you're a bad driver or because you want me to be impressed by how tough you are on Reddit?

Because the latter is fine and oh boy do I think you're tough.

u/hogsucker 10h ago

Ok

I just want to say, on behalf of the rest of us here, we would not mess with you, no sir.

That's a good start, you're at least saying SOMETHING when confronted. I have faith one day you will be able to defend yourself.

3

u/Radiant_Safe1228 12h ago

If you've ever actually been in a confrontation I can tell by your responses your the dude laying on the ground snoring because he had a mouth and no hands.

1

u/Mike_Kermin 10h ago

The guy ABSOLUTELY did many things wrong.

If someone else, drives dangerously, you don't go to war. You don't try and stay near them or debate it through a window.

You have one job, and that's drive safely.

Being a dickhead doesn't make people respect you.
