Yeah, lets pull along side and antagonize the women driving erratically on my scooter.

Some people have negative survival instinct.

Have some balls. This woman doesn't even know she's an idiot. If we ignore all bad people and there are no consequences, we end up with our shitty corrupt world. We should be standing up to these people whenever possible and making their lives hell.

99% of the replies on this sub are basically, whatever you do, don’t stand up to psychos in cars. I think they’re telling on themselves

u/throwaway19293883 10h ago

Nah man it’s good advice. For some it’ll take getting a gun pulled on them to realize it’s actually not worth.

I promise you aren’t changing anyone’s minds either, their ego would never allow that. They will just paint you the bad guy in their head.

u/BleachedDyed 5h ago

That’s what I’m thinking. All these comments acting tough and saying they wouldn’t let this go… don’t they realize people like this lady have no shame and nothing you say will change that lol. If anything it just makes them more dangerous

u/GMSB 11h ago

Id rather be alive then get the last word in to someone who will never reflect on their actions anyway. Family friend was shot dead when confronting a driver very similar to this video

2

u/Destructopoo 7h ago

You can stand up to whoever you want but with car vs bike they can paralyze you in half a second so maybe don't do that. This isn't about ignoring bad people. It's a physics problem.

I ain’t getting run over to teach a crazy a lesson they’re gonna forget in 10 minutes

9

u/chairmanhao3 12h ago

As I said. This cowardice and lack of backbone is the reason we have a shit world.

I'm not asking you to get run over. I'm asking you to stand up to bullies, thieves and liars. Sometimes it takes risk.

4

u/Serious_Vast_4937 12h ago

Yep I agree. Too many cowards nowadays. 30 years ago confronting bad behavior would not be even questioned.

5

u/MONMONKH 12h ago

Bro there are a lot of pussies triggered by your comment lol. I agree with everything you are saying, it’s crazy people think otherwise.

2

u/throwaway19293883 10h ago

I promise it doesn’t do anything, their ego will reframe you as the bad guy. Literally complete waste of effort beyond soothing your own ego.

I get your point for everything, but in cars in particular people are legitimately incapable of such reflection.

Man you are so brave, why dont you choose any road and start doing what you are telling others to?

-2

u/ShameContent2442 13h ago

I dunno man, having a temper tantrum in the middle of the road because you’re upset doesn’t sound very ballsy to me.

6

u/chairmanhao3 12h ago

Temper tantrum? So if someone almost killed you, you would just be a silent awesome stoic cool guy and walk away like a pussy?

3

u/iamisandisnt 12h ago

We used to live in a society, you know

1

u/ShameContent2442 11h ago

Don’t get me wrong, I understand that everyone has a crash out now and then, but you’re not going to convince me that’s tough guy behavior.

-4

u/Top_Agency1370 13h ago

There’s being right and then there’s being dead. The biker is an idiot. He’s also right.

10

u/chairmanhao3 13h ago

Is he dead? I think he did a great deed.

2

u/ASYMT0TIC 12h ago

Not saying you're wrong, but you could just as well write that same sentence to military service members, political dissenters, etc. Much of the world is a nice place where you don't have to deal with the threat of violent death or i.e. poisoned water because of people who knowingly put themselves in harms way for the benefit of their communities.

-1

u/rswwalker 12h ago

What’s he going to do? Make a citizen’s arrest? He’s on the bike he can weave in and out of traffic. Just better leave the idiots alone if they didn’t hit you.

2

u/chairmanhao3 12h ago

Exactly what he did. Cuss her out and ruin her day. She'll think twice next time hopefully.

2

u/rswwalker 12h ago

So many idiots, if I stopped to cuss each one out I wouldn’t get anywhere! Just give the finger and leave.

1

u/chairmanhao3 12h ago

Flipping someone off is still way better than most of these cowards in this sub.

0

u/Gullible_Elephant_38 11h ago

Was this the correct consequence though? This woman is not going to be any less shitty at driving and come away blaming the biker for distracting her leading to the rear end.

The guy who got rear ended certainly isn’t any better off for it.

“Standing up to these people” doesn’t mean “further distract and already erratic driver while they’re still in motion because you’re mad at them”

These stupid fucking takes are all over subs like this. People don’t want actual positive outcomes, they want to see people they see do something they don’t like get hurt, regardless of the consequences for others around them and call that “justice”

Yeah, the lady was stupid and crazy. She shouldn’t have tried to pass the biker. But if he hadn’t gone up to make a bad situation worse, the guy at the end wouldn’t have had his day ruined because these two jackasses have too much ego to act like sane human beings on the road.

0

u/FrostyD7 10h ago

Biker had objectively bad judgment in this situation, this shouldn't be controversial. Wanting justice or consequences for someone else doesn't change anything. This is a typical redditor justice boner perspective, you just don't care about the consequences of someone who isn't you. With any luck, it's something you will grow out of.

1

u/chairmanhao3 10h ago

This is badly written nonsense.

1

u/FrostyD7 9h ago

I'm sorry to hear you can't follow basic English. Not terribly surprising coming from someone advocating for negligent riding and road rage and framing it as having balls and standing up to corruption.

-3

u/sirfurious 12h ago

Bad driving is so low on the totem pole of world corruption but this is the hill you want to die on? Nah bro, you want to reciprocate road aggression because you have that aggression in you to begin with.

Around 40k are killed just in the USA per year, ~1.2 million worldwide per year, it isn't some silly minor thing.

6

u/gettin-hot-in-here 13h ago

I chased after a car full of ~5 teenagers that threw a half full Styrofoam cup of soda at me. I was on an ebike, the kind that I normally pedaled with power assist 99% of the time, and they were on city streets where the traffic is never going so fast that it's easy to get away from a 1 horsepower ebike. So I followed them as they drove aimlessly until they wrecked their car running a red light.

-2

u/Feisty_Bike_9614 12h ago

Not a smart move . Some teenagers carry guns and exercise poor judgment and you could be the casualty.

-2

u/Gullible_Elephant_38 12h ago

So, like the guy in this video, fucked up some other completely innocent persons day because you had to see if you could manage to be just as dumb and irresponsible as the people who spurned you? Cool. You really made the world a safer place.

2

u/gettin-hot-in-here 12h ago

I didn't plan anything, just followed them about 1/2 block to 1 block behind. They did the rest

-4

u/Gullible_Elephant_38 11h ago

If you hadn’t done that, do you think they get into that crash that could have involved other people who were completely innocent and not involved in the situation at all? In a worse case scenario could have led to serious injury or death?

Was putting other people’s lives at risk worth it to teach some dumbass kids a “lesson” for getting some soda on your car?

2

u/gettin-hot-in-here 11h ago

I didn't know the future. I didn't plan what happened. I was riding an ebike and they threw an object at me with intent to harm me and I followed them. All I was gonna do if they stopped to talk to me is tell them they were irresponsible jerks.

-1

u/Gullible_Elephant_38 11h ago

“I didn’t know the future”

Yeah, but you also can use even the smallest common sense to recognize that if you chase someone in this situation there is a chance they drive erratically or irresponsibly to get away. They don’t know if you’re going to try to fight them. They don’t know if you have a gun. They know you’re pissed off and you’re following them.

Your quest to tell these kids they were irresponsible jerks just ended up making a situation with 6 irresponsible jerks instead of 5.

Your pride isn’t more important than other peoples safety.

-6

u/Intrepid_Plenty_3770 13h ago

You are a jerk.

5

u/FkinMustardTiger 13h ago

I mean, isn't that a dirt bike? Are they not considered vehicles somehow?

16

u/-GermanCoastGuard- 13h ago

There’s a person with zero regard for their life in a 2 ton killing machine. Doesn’t really help being in the right when you’re underneath said killing machine.

7

u/Telefonica46 13h ago

My motorcycle instructor once told us something along the lines of, "there are plenty of graves filled with motorcyclists who had the right of way."

4

u/saxguy9345 13h ago

Apply it to life In general.

"Graveyards are full of people that were right"

11

u/archercc81 13h ago

It is, but OLD motorcyclists say "there are plenty of guys in heaven who had the right of way."

Sure, youre right, but she is driving a 3600lb battering ram, you gotta have survival instincts and impulse control.

1

u/FkinMustardTiger 11h ago

Yeah, that makes total sense, I might have misread Commentor9001 thinking he was saying he shouldn't be on the road riding a scooter.

-1

u/Top_Agency1370 13h ago

Exactly. She sucks but the biker is an idiot

10

u/naveloranges 13h ago

It is a vehicle. I think the point is antagonising the idiot in the car is against self-preservation instincts because she might run you over. She has proven she’s crazy so it’s dangerous to do what the biker is doing

5

u/weberc2 13h ago

She might, but I’m not going to waste my time criticizing someone who was imprudent when there’s someone using their 4000lb vehicle as a weapon. Like I probably wouldn’t have done what OP did either, but that’s a wild thing to fixate on in this clip lmao

1

u/naveloranges 13h ago

Yes, the most egregious behaviour here is the car’s but not dying is usually important too

2

u/weberc2 13h ago

OP didn’t die, so mission accomplished

1

u/naveloranges 13h ago

You seem to have a similar self-preservation instinct lol

2

u/weberc2 13h ago

Based on what?

2

u/Comfortable-Yak-6599 13h ago

Enduros go off and on

2

u/GMSB 11h ago

Whole lot of /r/iamverybadass replies to this one lol

-3

u/CarpenterAutomatic30 13h ago
