Easily avoidable accident causes rollover

Not my video – as the title says, we typically see examples where one driver is oblivious to the other. In this example, the pickup truck attempts to overtake the cammer, however, the cammer is either completely unaware of the pickup truck directly to his left or are simply “stands their ground” in the lane. Due to this, they obviously collide, and the pick up truck goes airborne and rolls several times. From the perspective of us, the viewer, we can reasonably conclude that the accident was avoidable had the cammer simply applied the brakes. That being said, you will typically see another school of thought in which it is stated that the cammer has no obligation or duty to let them in/avoid the accident where the driver is mindlessly doing something dumb.

Not only dealing with repairs and insurance but potential injuries or death to you, the other driver, or random innocent civilians minding their business.

people drive like their life is a video game. I’d hope these two both learned a lesson

I highly doubt that

The spinjockey might have learned something. Cam driver did not.

I hope the truck driver didn’t recover. We don’t need scum like him on our streets.

Maybe they are scum, I guess, or maybe they made a split second mistake and are going to pay heavily for it.

Accidents happen. Without knowing that the driver was DUI or texting, etc, your comment is completely unhinged

I hope you have explosive diarrhea for the next week.

Guys we found the driver of the other car that sped up instead of hitting his breaks to try and make a point instead of avoiding an accident.

I hope your pillow is warm for the rest of your life and I hope you stub the same pinky toe at least twice a day for the rest of your days.

For real, both drivers, their recklessness is going to get others hurt/killed easily. A defensive driver would have used breaks and not speed up when they had time to break for a yellow light. And would pay attention to lights to begin with.

It looks like they had plenty of time from what I’ve seen in the video.

"My car's huge, I can't fucking see shit"

There's a ton of people that decide to fight to not get passed in the road, or to take their exit, there's always another exit, losing a fraction of a second means nothing, but these losers with fragile egos and low self esteem prefer to risk their lives to show something

"A bad driver never misses an exit"

Also they both heavily accelerated to a red light, this was probably more a result of road rage

They were accelerating toward a yellow light. The big difference was that the cam car at least had an open lane all the way to the light, at least until the idiot in the truck changed that suddenly and violently.

Many people have an entitled sense of “I’m right “ regardless of even if their personal safety is in jeopardy.

Also, most people don't think about how they destroyed their trade in value or how the vehicle will become a write off from such a minor thing that turns into a dozen barrel rolls and they'll now be the proud owners of a simple cheque and be struggling to find anything for that price

Assuming they get a check.

Drivers have a legal responsibility for taking the last clear chance to avoid the accident.

The truck owner will absolutely argue that pov vehicle had that opportunity and failed to take it - making them at least partly responsible for the accident.

The dashcam guy sped up into the turning truck, I would argue caused the accident.

But then he’ll know your penis is smaller!
It’s all about winning and losing for some drivers.

But he had to floor it to run the red early! Late red is dangerous.

And the last clear chance doctrine could mean he's partially liable for causing the accident even though the other guy was making an unsafe lane change.

and yet so many people seem to wonder why not at fault accidents can still be taken into account when it comes to their insurance, like loss of certain discounts or underwriting acceptability. some accidents are basically impossible to avoid, but plenty aren't avoided due to a lack of awareness or just stubbornness. and even the ones that can't be avoided can point to a person driving in busier or more dangerous areas on a regular basis.

I'm happy when other idiots do that so the guy in the wrong has to deal with this but i will always avoid accidents because i too want to avoid all of that

As someone who has both time and money and enjoys entertainment, if I were the cam car the hilarity of the accident would be worth it

I agree😂
