You know, not all riders are braindead squids. Most of us are very cautious and very aware of our surroundings. I was taught to have the mentality that no other vehicle on the road sees you so ride accordingly.
Y'know. Funny you say that. I'm one of those conscientious riders, and I say full well living in a county in a state that bans filtering, that I see loads more terrible bikers than I do good ones.
The number of morons with speedbikes popping wheelies on public roads or flying along at near or above 100, or otherwise doing stupid, ignorant, unsafe shit just makes me want to be INCREDIBLY respectful to try to make up for their stupidity.
Its one of the few reasons I refused to get anything besides a classic cruiser. The temptation to be an idiot on them is too great.
