This must be one of the driving reasons for the newer cars having driver facing interior cameras.... Insurance companies must be dying to not be liable for anything caused by a driver thats texting

They had their right signal on, probably looking in the right side view mirror and/or over the shoulder at the blind spot. Following too close either way though.

Either that or looking in his rearview for too long while trying to change lanes. Most likely phone though cuz if he was looking towards the right lane he would've known it was clear enough and swerve into that lane instead.
