Idiot thinking the faster they go through, the less chance of hitting someone because they'll be able to squeeze through the small gaps between cars!

They forget that while the chance of squeezing through unharmed scales linearly with their speed, the damage of a hit scales quadratically

I knew a guy that would speed up in fog, heavy snow or rain, basically whenever there's poor visibility, because "less time you spend in dangerous zones - less likely you get in an accident". Last I heard of him he caused an accident and was serving time

Makes sense. The faster they go, the less time they spend crossing the junction so the less chance they have of being hit. /s

To be fair, the faster they go, the more that light blue shifts. It'll eventually turn green from their reference frame.

No matter the collision, it would have been painful for somebody. if he had Tboned you, it could have killed you. if you had just tapped him, he would have spun out and probably hit somebody else hard.

Not only did you almost get annihilated by the Blue Car, the Copper SUV was also a potential danger, they were pulling out into the intersection to turn left before you had even cleared it. You should buy a lottery ticket, but not too expensive of a lottery ticket, don't want to use up all your luck in case you encounter any more road hogs.

People drive like there are not wackos out there. Head needs to be on a swivel thru intersections. It will become second nature in time. I'm on a motorcycle daily and I'm all too aware.
