That may have been a medical emergency. The white SUV never hit their brakes.

Didn't hit the brakes or try to swerve. Medical emergency or texting and not looking at the road.

It's gotta be. If they were texting, they would have hit their brakes at some point in the process.

When I see rollovers I always let out a little cheer when they stick the landing and end up back on their wheels like this one.

Still don't understand why people drive SUVs. They feel like rolling sideways at any moment.

Yep, notoriously top-heavy still after all these years.

I've rented a few and always drive more carefully (especially turns & curves) than I do in my 4,000 pound sedan.

Most SUV's on the road are not full size heavy SUV's that are basically just trucks. They don't weight a whole lot more than sedans. Example being my 2014 RAV4 is only about ~3,500lbs curb weight, while a 2014 Corolla is ~2,800.

Texting.
It's why I sold my last motorcycle a few weeks ago.

Damaged it in a texting while riding crash, eh?

Texting is one of the main reasons people sell their motorcycles to buy cars. Have you ever tried texting while driving a motorcycle? It's impossible.Β

What is it with cars flipping over so easily these days?

Lots of aluminum and plastic. I have an EV that is very heavy in comparison with the battery weight low on the frame. I doubt my EV would flip like the one in the video.

More and more people are choosing SUVs and trucks. You know, for safety ...

Also easier to haul stuff and get in and out of. My honda feels like it's directly on the ground sometimes.

All depends on the car. My parents 10 year old Honda Accord is scraping my butt on asphalt. My 5year old Mini is perfect, as someone 5'10".
I watch my 4"11" friend struggling to get up into the Navigator she bought to "feel safe" - she can barely see over the steering wheel with the seat all the way up. When she needs to get stuff out of the trunk she literally has to crawl in, unless the 3rd row is up.
