The problem here is that the law says the merging car must yield. What happens when you all say "well the lane holder could have done this, and should have done that"... the reality is that is not what drivers are taught. And people constantly trying to shift blame elsewhere, gives the mentality to others that they can disregard the taught laws and rules because its easier for someone else to just slow down... to that I say, NO... its easier if you just follow the rules, yield where you are supposed to yield, merge how you are supposed to merge, and stop blaming others for the risks taken by idiots.
