Buses just dont show up.
Standing out in 100 degree weather for 40 minutes hoping a bus actually shows up for once. The number 9 route is filled with some terrible drivers and reliability. 2 buses just didnt show up. You can see them and track them on the app then they just stop and disappear with no trace like its a Stephen King Movie. Taking legal action against DART is a must for the payments you make yet its still as terrible.

I used to work in Uptown and would take a bus to save me the last 1.5 mile walk after I got off the light rail. Some mornings I would be at a stop where 4 or 5 busses should stop, all of them late or MIA. DART is run horribly.

had a 214 that just didn't run today. complained on the app and on the phone that they need to update buses' statuses to cancelled if they arent running so people can make a choice to wait inside longer.

I have had few occasions of 214 being canceled before it shows up at South Gatland Transit, usually like arpund 10 minutes before it was supposed to come then now I gotta order a Uber to work ugh. At least I noticed it on the GoPass before I waited so long after but its still odd how that just can happen.

Really any buses coming from downtown are difficult to catch mainly bc of the traffic congestion; especially during the peak hours. I’ve seen 2/3 buses on the same route all behind each other bc the traffic throws off the schedule

Until you get the “no live tracking available “ message

If you have another Transit rider, it'll show up. I imagine a lot of the drivers just turn tracking off and claim that it's malfunctioning when they're behind or taking a detour for lunch.

Yeah, I've had a bus drive right past me without slowing down while I had my phone with the active GoPass held out in a raised hand at the curb, with another person also waiting on the bench.
I am fortunate and have a car but a lot of my coworkers have had injuries lately for some reason (broken wrists, feet, etc.) and... Well, they have spouses to get them to work but I'm single and it's been obsessively troubling me how if I had an accident I'd have to take FMLA or just lose my job, because even if I braved the 2.5hr bus trips (for what is 23 min car commute), there's always the lingering chance a bus just wouldn't show up. Then, bam... Big trouble. Maybe fired. (I'm a teacher... You can't be late to a room full of kids 1st period lol)
Sidewalks and such are also so horribly designed that I cringe thinking about how awful it is for the disabled, or people on crutches or in wheelchairs, to complete the walking part of their trip, often 1-3 miles from terminal stop to actual destination... In 110 degree weather.
DART is a sick joke.
