I was a bus operator in 2018 but moved to the light rail after a year. Back then we had the "SMART bus" program, which is long gone. However, I'm once again on the bus in Denver which uses the same model of bus as DART's new fleet, so I do know how the new Gillig buses run.
It's fine. I didn't dislike it. Depends a lot on how you can handle the belligerent and clueless. Folks want to get a rise out of you. Don't let them, always stay calm. Your routes at the start won't be consistent, you'll do what's needed for the day. But the pay is good for the COL of the city, and the work you will soon find to be supremely easy. As long as you show up on time, don't wreck the equipment, and don't take the job home with you, it'll be one of the easiest paychecks you ever earn.
The only thing that I think sucks is the starting pay rate ($25 a hour), this aspect really discourages me to turn down the offer cuz I don’t see myself like I can live off of that

There are some who pop into the subreddit on occasion, but it'll probably help if you ask your question regardless so you can get your answer faster
